In events like CES, the TV may get most of the attention, but many home theater enthusiasts have a place in mind that is reserved specifically for projectors.
On Monday, LG announced that it will display a new laser projector for CES 2017 at LG ProBeam, the first compact laser projector it has designed for home theater.
A defining feature of ProBeam is the Advanced Laser engine, which is capable of projecting brightness up to 2,000 lumens.
While most projectors require very dim lights, this brightness can be viewed by the audience even in bright rooms.
If you are looking for a projector, you can use it instead of the TV next to it, which is a big deal.

\"LG ProBeam is expected to ship in 2017 and there is no news so far about what it will sell, but LG will show the projector on CES 2017, January 5-8 in Las Vegas.
