How big is the home theater projection screen?

Now that more and more people are setting up home theaters, what size projection screen is suitable for home theaters? A private theater with a large projection screen can certainly bring people a visual shock and a perfect experience, and enjoy extraordinary audio-visual effects, but if the projection screen is too large, its radiation area will be larger. If you watch it for a long time, It will cause nausea, fatigue and other symptoms to the viewer, and the vision will also be reduced. What size projection screen is the most suitable? The first thing to determine is that in the construction of a private theater, the size of the projection screen and the location to be installed must first be considered. The projection screen can be concealed installation or surface installation. If you choose to conceal installation, you must consider the size of the projection screen slot. Once the size is determined, it cannot be changed. Some people may say that the larger the screen size, the better if conditions permit. But this is not the right choice. The first thing to be sure is that the larger the picture, the more shocking the visual effect will be, but if the picture is too large, the picture quality will drop and the brightness will drop. If you want to ensure the quality of the picture, the projection quality of the projector must be very high, and the price will be relatively expensive. Generally, the size of the projection screen is between 80 inches and 120 inches, and the maximum size should not exceed 150 inches. So how to determine the size of the projection screen? The first thing to determine is the width of the wall where the projection screen is placed, because for the 16:9 projection screen, the width is an important condition that restricts the size of the projection screen. Secondly, consider the position of the speakers on both sides of the projection screen, and the speakers should be at least 15cm away from the wall. Finally, look at your viewing distance. If your viewing distance is within 3 meters to 4 meters, you can consider using a projection screen of 80 inches to 100 inches, and if it is 4 meters to 5 meters, you can consider 100 inches to 120 inch projection screen, if it is 5 meters to 7 meters (generally the longest viewing distance), you can consider 120 to 150 inches projection screen. The ratio of projection screens? Private home theater projection screens can currently be divided into: 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, 2.35:1, etc. Generally speaking, household widescreen projection screens here refer to 16:9 and 2.35:1 projection screens. Some people say that if your projector is a 16:9 ratio, buy a 16:9 projection screen, and if it is 4:3, buy a 4:3 projection screen. The purchase of the projector and the projection screen should correspond. In fact, this is not entirely true, but for home projectors in general, choosing a 16:9 screen is the right choice. But it's not exactly the case. The ratio of projection screens to buy does not necessarily depend on the projector, but depends on the video signal format that you usually play the most. The only reason for this is because for the projector, no matter what proportion of the video signal you input, it can be projected normally. If you often use your home theater to watch blockbuster movies, then 90% of the pictures are 16:9 (although there are many 2.35:1 movies, but the area including subtitles must be 16:9 to fully display the entire picture), then Buy a 16:9 projection screen.
