As the price of projectors has been reduced, more and more people are setting up home theaters. In order for the projector to achieve the best display status, it is naturally necessary to equip the projector with a suitable screen. However, many users only know that the projector needs maintenance, but do not know to protect the projection screen.

As everyone knows, the projection screen is also a very expensive thing. If it is not well protected during normal use, once the screen appears uneven or uneven, it will seriously affect the display effect. So what I want to focus on next is to introduce several methods to keep the screen flat. It is worth noting that these methods are all suitable for DIY screens, and the first method is also suitable for all kinds of screens, regardless of whether you use your own fabric. Such as blackout cloth or brand-name factory retail screen materials are suitable, so netizens must pay attention to it.

However, the method described below must have enough wall space for installation, as a fixed frame screen, which cannot be rolled up. Of course, if you are more creative, you can also make the frame into a solid whole, which can be hung from the ceiling when in use, and can be taken off the wall when not in use. It is suitable for audio-visual rooms or living rooms with plasma installed on the wall. But the technology and engineering are relatively complicated. Those with DIY spirit may wish to give it a try.

Not much to say below, I will introduce these methods to everyone. These three methods are: rubber band method; frame method; paste mounting method.

First: the rubber band method. In fact, the principle of this method is to use the long relay of the rubber band to keep the screen flat.

Materials: A. A number of strip wood materials that can be used to make a frame; B. Optional screen (black cloth and white cloth are recommended); C. A number of large and small iron nails; D. A number of black stationery iron clips; E. A number of high-quality rubber bands . If the wood is omitted, the total cost is about 100 yuan.

The first step of making: First determine the size of the projection screen you can accept on the wall, and then add about 10 cm on each side (according to your own feeling), and make a 16:9 wooden frame with this size. The frame wood is about 0.5 to 1 cm thick and 5 to 8 cm wide.

Step 2: Lock the finished frame with holes and screws on the wall. Each frame is locked with several screws, in short, the frame must be completely fixed without displacement, and can withstand a certain tension. If you use the screen material I recommend, you need to fix the black cloth to the projection screen on the wall using the best method you think, such as superglue, to use it as a background, and then install the frame on the black screen.

The third step: Cut the curtain neatly according to the size. It is best to fold the four edges and add seams to prevent the curtain from falling off, and it can also achieve a beautiful effect.

Step 4: Nail nails of moderate size on the center line of the frame wooden strips at equal distances. Be careful not to completely drive the nails into the wooden frame. Keep the nail heads about 3 to 5 mm away from the wooden frame. Hang the rubber band.

Step 5: Bind the rubber band to the stationery clip. According to the weight of the screen, determine how many rubber bands to use for each clip. Pay attention to controlling the length of the rubber band, because the edge of the curtain is only about 10 cm away from the center line of the wooden frame. If the rubber band is too large, it can be folded into two circles for use, which not only increases the tensile force, but also makes the length moderate.

Step 6: Clamp each stationery clip to the four edges of the screen at a size equal to the distance between the iron nails, and then stretch the rubber bands and hang them on the iron nails. Make some adjustments to make all the iron clips arranged horizontally and vertically like a line stretched.

At this point, a very flat screen is finished. The advantage of this method is that the curtain will always be flat when stretched by the rubber band, unless the rubber band is aging. The rubber band is also extremely easy to replace.
