Edge fusion technology overlaps the images projected by a group of projectors, and displays a brighter, super-large, high-resolution whole image with no gaps through the fusion technology, and the effect of the image is like a projection The screen projected by the machine. In the entire large-screen edge fusion system, the screen is only a part of it, but it can fully express the perfect performance of the system, and full consideration must be given to the construction of the system.

For projection screens of general edge fusion projects, it is recommended to use a metal screen that is easy to fix, and the gain of the projection screen should be as small as possible, generally less than 1.2. The reason why the metal hard screen is recommended is because the fusion belt part is the superposition of the images of the two projectors. The slight displacement of the two projectors will cause the overlap of the image and the unnatural and incoherent color transition in the superimposed part. Similarly, if the projection screen is slightly displaced, ghosting and screen tearing will also occur. The metal curtain is easier to fix, and looks high-end atmosphere.

In addition, the smaller the screen gain, the larger the viewing angle; the larger the screen gain, the smaller the viewing angle. If viewed from the front, there is no difference between the fusion effect of a projection screen with a large gain and a projection screen with a small gain. However, if viewed from a larger angle, the fusion zone of the projection screen with larger gain is more obvious, and the integrity of the picture is not strong enough. Therefore, in edge fusion projects, it is generally recommended to choose products with a screen gain of 1.2 or less, so that when viewing the picture from different angles, you will feel that the picture is always the same and the effect is better.

After determining the material of the screen, the size of the projection screen must be determined. One of the most critical technologies in the edge fusion system is to do edge fusion processing. The projection images of adjacent projectors need to be partially overlapped, and the width of the overlapped portion should not be less than 20% of the projection width of a single projector. , Generally, the size of the screen can be determined according to the relationship between the width of the screen, the height of the screen, and the number of projectors:
